You can delete your account and stop using online backup service. Account deletion includes all notes, passwords, and other data associated with the account.

To delete your account and data, please submit an account deletion request by following the steps below from within your app.

  • Open your ColorNote android app.
  • Tap ColorNote‘≡’ button -> settings -> Online Backup.
  • Tap the menu button (⋮button) in the upper bar.
  • Choose‘Account settings’.
  • Tap the menu button(⋮button) and choose ‘Delete account’
  • Read the pop-up dialog and follow the instructions to confirm that you are the owner of the account.

If you are unable to delete your account using above steps within your app, you can send an email request for account deletion to support@socialnmobile.com , and we will respond to your request. We may ask you for proof of account ownership and/or identity before fulfilling your request. This is a security measure to ensure that your information is not disclosed to any unauthorized person. In some cases, we may retain copies of your information if required by law. Please note that some or all of your personal information may be required for us to provide you with access to certain specific functionalities of our Service.

 

Once you submit an account deletion request, it will take up to two weeks for your account and data to go through the automated deletion process. After two weeks, your account and data will not be recoverable.

To cancel the deletion of your account, please send an email to support@socialnmobile.com before the automated deletion process is complete.
